What is CNC lathe

CNC lathe is one of the widely used CNC machine tools. It is mainly used for cutting the inner and outer cylindrical surfaces of shaft or disc parts, inner and outer conical surfaces with arbitrary cone angles, complex rotating inner and outer surfaces, and cylindrical and conical threads. It can also perform groove cutting, drilling, reaming, and boring.

Compared with ordinary machine tools, CNC machine tools have the following characteristics:

1. High machining accuracy and stable machining quality;

2. Can perform multi coordinate linkage and process parts with complex shapes;

3.When changing the machining parts, it is generally only necessary to change the CNC program, which can save production preparation time;

4.The machine tool itself has high accuracy and rigidity, and can choose favorable processing quantities, resulting in high productivity (generally 3-5 times that of ordinary machine tools);

5.High degree of machine tool automation can reduce labor intensity;

6.High requirements are placed on the quality of operators and higher technical requirements are placed on maintenance personnel.
